Finding New Ways To Serve

"Don't hit me up, asking me all these questions about design if you're not going to hire me. I'm not our teacher. I'm not your tutor. I really should be charging you a consulting fee."

Welcome back to The Moonlighters' Club. On this episode, Joel sits down to talk with a high school acquaintance, Lawrence Wyche, who has almost had too many jobs to list since graduating. Currently, he is the CEO of The LiNK Media.

A native of Boston, Lawrence had a strong work ethic from a young age - although that didn't apply to his schooling growing up. Lawrence considers college a waste of money for young entrepreneurs, but he attended anyway.

After leaving campus and jumping from job to job - including turns as a restaurant host, waiter, hotel houseman, furniture assembler, and call center representative, to name a few - he began to focus on his abilities in photography, graphic design, video production, event planning, and artist management. Eventually, he launched an online Urban Christian Entertainment magazine.

He's battled depression and serious illness but hasn't stopped hustling. Ultimately, all of his experiences have led Lawrence to view challenges positively. He now enjoys overcoming obstacles, building his companies, and growing as a business owner.

Listen to learn what he thinks the hardest - and greatest - thing about being an entrepreneur is. Keep up with him at thelinkmedia.com/ or lenzdavisionary.com and on Facebook at The LiNK media.
