New-Fashioned Entrepreneurship

"Most of the joy just comes from making sure that people come back and say 'Thank you so much.' The 'thank yous' are good enough for me. ... The 'thank yous' are everything, because I'm happy you're in a better space. That actually means I helped you today."

On this episode of The Moonlighters' Club, host Joel Edwards welcomes Chardline Chanel-Faiteau, who works in Boston as the Education Outreach Investigator in the Mayor's Office for Fair Housing & Equity by day, and as a lifestyle blogger for Plus Size Beausion after hours.   After getting a taste for public service at a young age - working closely alongside Mayor Menino from the age of 19-23 - Chardline discovered she wasn't interested in becoming a lawyer, but she knew she wanted to help the marginalize and underprivileged.  There she found her purpose in helping those in need.  Outside of work, she's been building her reputation in the fashion industry as a lifestyle blogger, reaching thousands through her brand, Plus Size beausion.  She's pushing herself to keep moving upward and working to expand her influence.
